Review of NBA 2K11

Once the fans seen the legend Michael Jordan in his interview themed commercial promoting 2k11 people went nuts. Apart from real life watching basketball on t.v. then watching game play, it is really surprising to see how close it looks to reality. If you ever wanted to play basketball on a rainy day? Pick up 2k its close enough.

Being introduced to #23 on the court of the 1991 NBA finals was a amazing way to open up the game. His opening music always gives me goose bumps. A whole mode is introduced for gamers to step in the shoes of mike and play game for game of his most memorable challenges through his career. The bad part about this is the ridiculous amount of stats needed to complete in Jordan Challenge mode. Not getting those stats? Don't worry, it puts you back at the first quarter to try and try again.
What should you do? Maybe score and win try that.

Want a online pick up game? Good thing Team-up mode was created. This gives you the chance to play up to nine different players. The only problems that have been seen is the potential to lag during the game. Other than that the new controls are great. Behind the back, between the legs are just some of the moves that are made to be used easily.

Legendary written all over it

Making rank through my player mode, making a dynasty, fooling around online with friends, or just playing a pick up game is a wonderful way to kill time throughout your day. NBA 2K11 has really done a lot to bump up it's game since last year. NBA live has a lot to catch up with if they want to keep in the same race as 2K.

Game Rating: 8.5
