Review of Final Fantasy XIV: Online

Back to another MMO by the creators of Square Enix. Mostly based for the questing, leveling up'n solo bad asses. Sorry, but even you bad asses will need a handbook to figure out some of the most basic areas of the game. Cut-scenes will be your watching for a little bit as you start your game after doing the classic honors of naming your character and with the MMO series different types of races.

Graphics are gorgeous
Gathering and crafting in Eorzea is a major part in the world. Completing such harvesting and crafting will rank your class up and also your physical level. Leveling will seem like a breeze with some tools or weapons equipped throughout the game.

The game's quests (level quests) will be opened after you are done with crafting, buying, and selling. Interacting with others will give you a chance to join in on their quests as you wait until yours are opened and ready to be explored. On each quest you are timed..yes timed until everything in your current quest is completed.
The battle system
Combat in FFXIV is all about collecting skills from different classes. Only a certain amount of abilities can be activated at one time. Gives you the chance to fiddle around with what you have. Just don't get to excited about the performance.

The graphics in this MMO are out of this world and are very detailed to a T. Also the soundtrack to this game is worth a download or two with great quality sound and a great orchestra as always with Final Fantasy titles.

This Final Fantasy MMO is hard to grasp at first but overall is a really enjoyable game worth buying and giving it a test run with many already on the social gaming network. Square Enix knew the hype and finished through, but with just minor problems that should be fixed in upcoming months.

Game Rating: 8.5
